Conference on Investment and Trade in the Arctic

The conference ‘Investment and Trade in the Arctic’ took place on 6 September in Vladivostok (within the 7^th Eastern Economic Forum programme) as part of the plan for the main events of Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

Experts from leading Russian companies and key agencies discussed prospects for Russian and foreign partners to cooperate in the Arctic and opportunities for the development of the Northern Sea Route while building new logistics chains. The other question was the regime of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation that had been specially developed for the Far North.
