Arctic Regions of Russia

Russia’s Arctic zone includes nine regions: four of them are fully within this zone, while five partially belong to it. The Arctic territories cover an area of 4.8 million km² (28% of the country’s territory). It is home to 2.6 million people, making up more than half the Arctic population worldwide.
